Susan MacManus is a distinguished professor at the University of South Florida in the Department of Government and International Affairs. She is often quoted by the media for her expertise in state and local politics, and served as a political analyst for WFLA. MacManus leads the USF-Nielsen Sunshine State Survey, the most anticipated public policy survey in Florida.
Donald Tucker is a former Speaker of the Florida House of Representatives. He served in this role 1974 to 1978. He was also a United States special ambassador to the Dominican Republic.

Moffitt led a project to build a cancer treatment center while in office. As a result of his work, H. Lee Moffitt Cancer Center & Research Institute was named in his honor. He returned to practicing law after leaving the legislature.
